Paul Richard Lester

Paul Richard Lester, 74, of Afton, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 10, 1946 in Buchanan County, Virginia, son of the late Arthur Flemming Lester and America Mounts Lester.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Rose Knipp Lester; brother, Eugene Lester; and sister, Kay Frances Brown.

Paul is survived by his children, Richard Lester, Lydia Lester, Paul Lester II and his wife, Tonia; grandchildren, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Darian, Adam and Lexi; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Gerri Guileseppe and Joyce Duff; and many other family members and friends.

Paul was a Vietnam veteran and for 20 years was employed as a coal miner.   He especially enjoyed cooking.
