Paul Andrew "Andy" Lowe, Jr.

Paul “Andy” Andrew Lowe, Jr., 35, of Palmyra, sadly left us on March 24th, 2024.  Andy was born in Charlottesville, Virginia to Paul Andrew Lowe, Sr. and Juanita Shifflett Lowe on August 26, 1988.  

In addition to his parents, Andy is survived by his sisters, Sharon Lawson Taylor (Daniel) of Stanardsville and Brittany Wright (Joshua) of Albemarle; his nieces and nephews Evan and Delana Taylor and Riley and Connor Wright. As well as an extended family, including aunts and uncles: Rose Lawson, Ricky Shifflett (Lynda), Allen Shifflett (Samantha), Susan Tapscott (James “Beatle”), Patricia Barnes (David), John Lowe (Darby), Cheryl Lowe and many cousins.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Edith Shifflett, Jean Lowe, Claude Lowe, and his uncle Doug Lawson.

Andy graduated from Fluvanna County High School in 2006. He enjoyed many hobbies, but nothing made him happier than disassembling and reassembling computers and other electronics. His love for how things worked extended to cars when he attended J. Sargeant Reynolds for some time. 

Pastor G. Raye Jones will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 12:30 PM at First Bible Baptist Church, 335 Crusaders Court, Stanardsville, Virginia. Interment will follow directly after at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, Virginia. The family will receive family and friends one hour before the funeral service at 11:30 AM.
