Randolph Merrick Powell, 95, of Stanardsville, VA died on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Grace Health & Rehab of Greene. He was born on January 14, 1917 in Stanardsville, VA to the late Pinkus and Ida Powell.
He is survived by his great nieces, Donna Powell and Sherri Powell, his nephews, Eugene Powell, Michael Powell, William Powell and his wife, Elnora and James Powell and his wife, Joyce and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and close friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his by his loving wife, Maude Powell and his siblings, Roy, Alton, Stark, Lloyd and Maxine.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Stanardsville Cemetery with Rev. Tim Duggins officiating.
