Barboursville

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn “Becky” (Collier) Frazier, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 53, surrounded by her family after a short but incredibly difficult battle with uterine cancer.

Born on September 9, 1972, Becky lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She found joy in traveling anywhere she could, whether it was discovering a new destination or simply relaxing by the beach, one of her favorite places. Country music was the soundtrack to many of her happiest moments, and she rarely passed up the chance to enjoy it.

Becky shared a loving marriage with her devoted husband, Bryan Frazier, for 35 years. Together, they built a life centered on family and unwavering commitment through every season of life.

More than anything, Becky treasured her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, treasured friend, and a proud “Gaga” to her grandchildren. Being Gaga was one of her greatest joys, and the love she poured into her grandchildren created memories that will be cherished forever.

Becky will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her caring heart, her strength, and the way she made everyone around her feel welcome and loved. She took pride in being anyone’s first phone call, always ready to help in any way she could. Caring for others brought her great comfort and joy, and her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved mother, Irene “Rennie” Collier; her father, Junior Collier; Mary “Mur” Chestnut; and many other cherished family members who went before her.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 35 years, Bryan Frazier; her children, Kirstyn Marshall (Bryce), Kaitlyn Marrs (Austin), and Bryan Frazier Jr. and his partner Hailee, and her beloved grandchildren, Jack Marshall, Savannah Marshall, and Tucker Marrs, who lovingly knew her as Gaga. She also leaves behind so many beloved family members, including in-laws, cousins, nieces & nephews, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff of the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center, especially Dr. Batman, Dr. Cantrell, Samantha Hinzman, and their incredible support staff, for the exceptional care they showed Becky throughout her cancer journey.

We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff on 4 North at UVA, especially Ella and Sarah, whose gentle care brought comfort to Becky and our entire family during the most difficult days.

A special thank you to Hospice of the Piedmont for helping Becky transition home with comfort. Your support gave our family the priceless gift of spending her final days together in the place she loved most. We will forever be grateful.

Finally, we would like to thank Olivia Lamb once again for her support and care over the last few days.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Becky is at peace, reunited with those she loved, and watching over the family that meant everything to her. Her legacy lives on in every story shared, every country song played, every beach sunset admired, and every hug remembered by those who were blessed to know her.

A visitation will be held for family and friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Free Union Church of the Brethren in Free Union, Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, beginning at 3:30 pm, with interment to follow at Free Union Church Cemetery.
