Reverend Richard Henry Adams, age 64, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in Quinque, Virginia. Richard Adams was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Eulah (Ratliff) Adams.
Richard was born in Ashland, KY. He attended Andover High School in Linthicum, MD. He entered the ministry in 1976 and retired in 1990. During his time as a pastor he also taught lessons and authored several publications for the UPCI. In addition to his 17 years in ministry he was an upholsterer and artisan craftsman until his passing.
He is survived by his brother Gary K. Adams of Linthicum, MD; two children son Nathan R. Adams and wife Keely of Boise, ID; daughter Rebekah J. Ingram and husband Isaac of Mechanicsville, VA; granddaughter Beatrix Ingram.
A Memorial Service will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968, at 2:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2017 with the family receiving visitors from 1:00pm – 2:00PM.
