Roy Allen Bishop

Roy Allen Bishop, 51, of Ruckersville, Virginia, formerly of Rosedale, Maryland, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1971 to the late William and Dorthy Bishop. He is preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Mary Walters.

He is survived by his daughter Heaven L. Bishop and fiance William Yates of Greene County, grandchildren William J. Yates III, Tambra I. Yates, Stella M. Yates, and Alexander J. Yates, and who he loved as his daughter, Tori Hands and family of Greene County. 

Roy enjoyed watching wrestling and cheering on the Detroit Lions.
“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever.” 

Services will be private.
