Royal-King Thomas Fortune

In loving memory of Royal-King Thomas Fortune, born January 16, 2026, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and called home February 18, 2026. Beloved son of Thomas Fortune and Tyasia Jones, cherished brother of Amari King Thomas Fortune and Tyonna Chyelle Jones. Adored grandson of Larry and Diane Fortune (paternal), Cameilli Williams (Matthew), James Jones (Priscilla), and Dory McIntosh (maternal). Great-grandson of Vera Rogers(Buck), Ada Fortune, and Judy Marrs. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Kenneth Myles Senior, Sherman and Mary Jones, Thomas Fortune, and Haywood Marrs. Loved nephew of Danielle Eubanks (Sherrod), April Marrs (Kevin), Shannon McIntosh Briggs (Kasaun), Shona Jones, Camille Jones (JB), James JC Jones, and Lavell Hart Jr. Cherished godson of Stacey and Dezarae White. Beloved by Family Nanny Alice (Danielle Zirkle) and a host of great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Though his time with us was brief, Royal-King's light shone bright, touching the lives of all who knew him. His love and spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.

A celebration of his life will be held graveside at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, Virginia, on March 2nd at 2 pm with Pastor Edgar Green of Eden Ministries, 2900 Merrie Meadows, Keswick, officiating, followed by a re-pass at Eden Ministries.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support the family during this difficult time.
