Ruth Ann Barnett

Ruth Ann (Jones) Barnett, 75, of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2021.

She was born August 11, 1945 in Virginia, daughter of the late Kelsie W. and Hazel B. Jones of Madison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Rob” C. Jones; nephew, Michael L. Racer; and great-nephew, Evan Sabine.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Lisa K. Barnett of Charlottesville; two brothers, K. Wayne Jones (Rose) of Madison and S. Keith Jones (Debbie) of Port Republic; three sisters, Linda J. Gamon and Elaine J. Bennett of Lousia, Sandra J. Broyles (Woodie) of Barboursville; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins, friends, neighbors and her grand-dog, Jake.

Ruth Ann graduated from Madison County High School in 1963 and started working in Washington, D.C.  She loved working in her flower beds and gardening.
