Ruth T. Baugher

Our Beloved Mother, Ruth Townsend Baugher, 86, of Stanardsville, VA passed away in her home on March 5, 2018. She was born on January 28, 1932 in Scottsville, VA to the late Frank and Lilly Townsend.
She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Hurt of Ruckersville, VA, Theresa Baugher of Snow Camp, NC, Maria Baugher of Charlottesville, VA and her sons, Gerald Baugher of Stanardsville, VA, Laverne Baugher of Stanley, VA and Frederick Baugher and his wife, Cheryl of Stanardsville, VA; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Baugher; sons, Terry Baugher, Dale Baugher and Gary Baugher and her son-in-law, Greg Hurt.
Mama loved to travel and spend time with her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens.
