Steven Alexander Zoumbaris

Steven Alexander Zoumbaris, 69, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away at his home February 1, 2023.

Steven was born August 21, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Alexander Gus Zoumbaris

He is survived by his mother Jean Louise Zoumbaris; daughter, Sara Beth Zoumbaris and husband Bobby of Portsmouth, VA; son, Nicholas Steven Zoumbaris and wife Claire of China; brother, Scot Alexander Zoumbaris and wife Julie of PA; sisters, Sandra Jean Zoumbaris, Sharon Kay Zoumbaris and husband Norm, Shelly Ann Daus and husband Fred all of VA; and granddaughter Persephone Zoumbaris of China.

Steve savored the good things in life: Family, Friends, and Scotch. He also loved traveling, numerous recreational activities, and working on his tan at the beach. He was a proud Sigma Chi brother of Michigan State University in his youth, and grew into a beloved socialite of the Charlottesville area in his prime. He cherished being part of several social clubs including the Outdoor Hiking Club, Charlottesville Foodie Meetup, and The Original Bourbon Club. He will be missed by many.

Steve held nature close to his heart and would be honored by those that feel the same to donate to the Wildlife Center of Virginia in his name.
