Sue Ann Beverly

Sue Ann Beverly, 75, of Charlottesville, went to be with the angels on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born on November 17, 1950, in Kline, West Virginia, to Melvin and Hazel Hinkle. She dedicated her life to her family and karaoke family, along with her puppies Snowball and Sambo.

She is survived by her husband, JR Beverly. Two daughters, Sheila Cooley and Rebecca Kocik. Three sisters, Marie Miller, Pauline Clark, and Linda George. Two brothers, Sonny Hinkle and Roger Grimm. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue loved going to karaoke on Friday nights and was a shining light to all. She will be remembered for her kind heart and laughter.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Batten Funeral Home.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am, Monday, March 30th, at Holly Memorial Gardens, conducted by Scotty Batten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Batten Funeral Home.
