Tasha Rose Hardy

Tasha Rose Hardy, 43, of Mitchells, VA passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was born on July 10, 1974 in Washington, D.C. to her father, Theotis Barber and her mother, Annita Jordan.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Luther S. “Luke” Hardy III; her sons, Adrian Apperson and DeSean Apperson; grandson, Malachi Apperson; grandmother, Maud Roy; step daughter, Amber Hardy; aunts, Donna Stroy and Wanda Ridley; cousins, Janey Stroy and Steven Roy; and numerous other family, friends and loved ones.

Tasha was pure sunshine. Her smile was contagious and her loving happy nature was displayed the moment anyone met her. She had a tremendous love for her family as a devoted wife, loving daughter, dedicated mother, adoring grandmother and a truly amazing friend. Her love of life will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S West St. Culpeper, VA 22701.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church, with Rev. David Clanagan, Rev. William Fortune and Rev.  Kilby officiating.

Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Washington.
