Theodore "Ted" Rogofsky
April 20, 1940 — February 11, 2018
Theodore Rogofsky, Sr., 77, of Stanardsville, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Suncoast Hospice House in Pinellsa Park, FL. He was born on April 20, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John Kornfeld and Violet Rogofsky Wisneski.
Ted served our country in the United States Army. He later retired after 20 years with the Polk Community College in Lakeland, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Angye Beddow Rogofsky; daughters, Tina and Candido of Delgado, FL., Teresa Rogofsky of TN., and Michelle Helm of NY; sons, Theodore Rogofsky, Jr. and Jennie of OH, Christopher Rogofsky and Angie of NY, Chet Rogofsky of FL, and Matthew Rogofsky of Chicago.; stepdaughters, Sharon and Don Duffy of VA, and Suzanne and Rick McDonald of VA,; stepsons, Steven Colman of VA and Kenneth and Rose Coleman of VA; 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren; brothers, Rick Wisneski of FL, Stan Wisneski of FL, Chet Wisneski of NY and Joe Wisneski of NY; and sisters, Adele Wisneski of NY, Barbara Wisneski of FL, Janet Wisneski of FL and Virginia Wisneski of NY.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery (New) with Kenneth Coleman officiating and military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
