In Loving Memory of Thomas Click

With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the life of Thomas Click, who, at the age of 82, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2026. He was a man whose strength, kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love shaped the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Thomas was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, faithful friend, and steadfast follower of Christ. His life was a testament to integrity, humility, and service. Whether through his acts of kindness, words of wisdom, or unwavering faith, he left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Thomas answered the call to serve his country with honor. He graduated from Albemarle County High School and served as a squad leader at Miller Military Academy, where his natural leadership, discipline, and character were evident from an early age.

Above all else, Thomas loved the Lord. He was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church, where his faith guided every aspect of his life. He lived with compassion, generosity, and a servant's heart, always striving to reflect God's love in the way he treated others.

Thomas found great joy in life's simple pleasures and in spending time with those he loved. He enjoyed watching and talking about basketball, casting a fishing line whenever he had the chance, bowling with friends, playing pool, and, perhaps most of all, winning a good game of cards. Whether sharing stories, friendly competition, or laughter around the table, he had a way of bringing people together and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

To his family, he was much more than a husband and father—he was their protector, teacher, encourager, and source of unwavering love. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Click; his sister, Shirley Thomlin; his son, Christopher Click; his daughter, Heather Peregoy; and his cherished granddaughters, Imajine Click and Laci Click. They will forever treasure the love, guidance, laughter, and countless memories they shared with him.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort in knowing that Thomas is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His legacy is not measured by worldly accomplishments alone, but by the love he gave, the faith he lived, and the lives he touched.

Daddy, thank you for your sacrifices, your wisdom, your steadfast faith, and your unconditional love. Your example will continue to guide us, your memory will forever comfort us, and your love will remain in our hearts until we are reunited in Heaven.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 3rd, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Batten Funeral Home of Ruckersville, Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, at 11 am, with interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
