Timothy Paul Shiflett

Timothy Paul Shiflett, 82, of Dyke, VA passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born on May 13, 1939 in Greene County, VA to the late James and Maggie Shiflett.

He is survived by his companion, Hazel Shifflett; sons, Elvis, Jeffery, PeeWee, Allen, Jabo, Pete, and Timmy Shiflett; daughters, Lois Ann Shiflett and Barbara Allen; stepdaughters, Peggy Shifflett, Wanda Shifflett, Karen Crawford, and Phyllis Morris; three sisters, Velma Roberts, Charlotte Perry, and Maggie Morris; and numerous grandchildren, family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Paul “Dickie” Shiflett;  his daughter, Paula Sue Shiflett; brothers, George, Charlie and Gilbert Shiflett; sisters, Patsy White, Helen Hawley White, Naomi Leiben and Elizabeth Roberts; and companion and mother of 7 children, Ruby Carver.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Van Crawford officiating.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
