Vincent Lee Shifflett

Vincent Lee Shifflett, 22, of Charlottesville, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2013. He was born on May 31, 1991 in Charlottesville, VA to Leroy and Kim Shifflett of Earlysville, VA.

Vince was an outdoorsman who had a great passion for hunting, fishing and dirt bike racing with his cousin, Cody. He will be greatly missed by all and his loving smile will always be remembered.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Lily Shifflett, his companion and mother of his child, Sarah, two sisters, Dana Esposito and her husband, Bobby and Stacy Shifflett and her companion, JR Thacker, one nephew, Alex Esposito and his grandmothers, Charlotte Shifflett and Doris Roach.

Additional survivors include his aunts and uncles, Diane and Junior Shifflett, Junior and Jackie Shifflett, Rita Shifflett, Ferlin Roach, Tricia and Ivoe Marrs and Lisa Morris and George Shifflett, his cousins, Scottie Morris, Crissy Morris, Brittany Shifflett, Cody Marrs, Hunter Atwell, Jessie Atwell, Jamie Shifflett, Jason Shifflett and Trevor Roach and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Linwood Shifflett and Alex Roach

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the UVA SICU for their guidance and special care during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Nortonsville Church of God, 1505 Simmons Gap Rd Dyke, VA 22935.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Nortonsville Church of God with Rev. Ronnie Shifflett and Pastor David Allison officiating.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
