Wallace B. Harlow, Sr.

Wallace B. Harlow, Sr., 86, of Harrisonburg, formerly of Quinque, VA died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab. He was born on December 12, 1927 in Greene County to the late Emmett Harlow and Daisy Lamm Harlow.

 Mr. Harlow proudly enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during WWII. He was a member of Swift Run Baptist Church and loved to play the guitar and watch baseball, especially the Baltimore Orioles. His love for his family and friends will always be remembered.

 He is survived by his children, Gregory W. Harlow and his wife, Kathleen of Quinque, Jacqueline H. Woodson and her husband, Gary of Stanardsville and Wallace B. Harlow, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Barboursville.

Additional survivors include his sisters, Ann McMullen and Dorothy Critzer and his grandchildren, Kristina Maddox, Wallace B. Harlow III, Justin W. Harlow, Shawn W. Harlow and Matthew R. Harlow.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor W. Harlow.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 1445 Rio Rd E, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
