Wanda Lee Morris

Wanda Lee Morris, age 64, of Ruckersville, passed away peacefully on August 12th 2026, at 12:15 a.m., surrounded by her loving family.

Wanda was born on December 9th 1961, to the late Clarence and Dolores Morris.

Wanda married her husband, Ronnie Dale Morris, of 40 years on February 22nd, 1986, and together they shared a life filled with family, love, and cherished memories.

She will be remembered by her son, Shannon Morris, and wife, Jessica Smith; daughter, April Salyers, and husband, Joshua Salyers; her grandchildren, Christopher, Logan, and Alli Salyers; and her grandpups, Cooper and Tiger.

She is also survived by her brothers, Glen Morris and wife, Wanda; Bobby Morris and wife, Tina; Jamie Morris and Lisa; her sisters, Lori Morris; Amy Morris and husband Chris; her mother-in-law, Ruth Morris, brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a devoted wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Wanda's greatest joy was her family.

Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She treasured every moment with them and took great pride in watching them grow.

She was the kind of person who always took care of others, made sure the people she loved were okay, and lent a helping hand.

Those who knew her will remember her for her feisty spirit, strong personality, and loving heart. She had a way of letting you know exactly what she thought, but beneath that feistiness was a woman who cared deeply.

Wanda leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Batten Funeral Home in Ruckersville, Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Batten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Church Cemetery.
