Wendy Anne Weisel

Wendy Anne Weisel, 55, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Wendy was born May 14, 1967 in Alexandria, VA, the daughter of Mary Louise Francis Chipp Yehl.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Louise Francis Chipp Yehl; partner of 36 years, Roy K. Watson, Jr.; her children, Amanda Lee Weisel, Courtney Laine Watson, Logan Rhys Watson and Elena Blodinger Samuels; siblings, Diane Elizabeth Weisel and Albert James Weisel; grandchildren, Layla Gayle Forbes and Noah Linwood Samuels; aunt, Sue Douglas; uncle, Robert Douglas; and other family members and friends.

Wendy was employed with UVA Health Systems for over 20 years. She graduated from UVA in 1989 and graduated from Thomas Edison High School in 1985. She enjoyed puzzles and games.  She was especially fond of cats and loved spending time with her family. She also loved musicals, Bruce Springsteen and Winnie-the-Pooh.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.
