William S. Damron

William S. Damron, of Ruckersville, died on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the age of 58. He was born in Richmond, VA to Billy C. and Bonnie R. Damron. William is preceded in death by his father, Billy C. Damron.

In his earlier years, William played high school football, baseball, basketball and ran track. Shortly after graduating, he joined the Air Force to serve his country and would later settle in Ruckersville to enjoy all that country living has to offer. He became known in the community for running the newspaper route early each morning to his regular customers who became friends through the years. 

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Bonnie R. Damron; daughter, Nicole K. Hadzic; sister, Pamela Carol McCloud; brother, Michael Craig Damron; grandchildren, Kian and Eliana Hadzic; nephews, Cameron McCloud and Cody Damron; uncle, Ralph Allen Damron; aunt, Betty Jo Tarbet; and his cousins, Donna Flaugher, Kim Beck, and Tammy Osborne.
