William Thomas Morris

William Thomas Morris, fondly known as T, Thomas, or one of the Morris Brothers, 86, of Ruckersville, Virginia passed away peacefully on April 20, 2023. He was born in Greene County on August 28, 1936 to the late Andrew Jackson Morris and Mary Virginia Bickers Morris. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin Thomas Morris, Wallace Morris, and David “Edward” Morris and four sisters, Elsie Wood, Frances Clasing, Lorene Shifflett, and Blanche Shifflett.

He is survived by his wife/partner of 65 years, Ella Mae Morris of Greene Acres Rehab in Stanardsville, a daughter, Wanda Morris Barden and husband Timothy of Ruckersville, two brothers, Harold Morris and wife Pauline of Ruckersville and Charles Wilson Morris and wife Delores of Barboursville, and one sister, Lois Crickenberger of California.

Upon his request, anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so Monday, April 24, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Virginia with Ansel Seeds officiating.
