William Leroy Roach

William Leroy Roach, 79, of Stanardsville passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born August 15, 1936 in Greene County, son of the late William Luther Roach and Mary Ann Roach.
Leroy is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Edith Lee Conley Roach; one sister, Laura Isabell Morris; special niece and caregiver, Angela Conley; great niece and nephew, Aaron and Aaliyah; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbert Roach and Theodore Roach; and three sisters, Charlotte Shifflett, Ruth Knight and Marjorie Roach.
Leroy was employed by the Orange Steel Mill for many years.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2016 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Ryan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
